SECAD is a community partnership company that invests in and supports a range of projects and initiatives based on a sustainable development plan.
SECAD wanted to replace their old site with a clean, accessible and easy to navigate site.
The site needed to hold a lot information and ExpressionEngine was used to make it easy to update and edit large documents of information. Image upload is tied into these ‘Publish’ areas so that staff can break up large chunks of text with images.
HTML, CSS and JavaScript were used to develop the site and the underlying code was made as accessible as possible. Being a community site, accessibility was an important factor for SECAD. A semantic framework was developed and clear navigation structure created so that site is easy to navigate for any audience.
